Boiler Wharf launched as cruise liner berth

Last month the quay known as Boiler Wharf was inaugurated as yet another berth for cruise liners. The increase of berthing space for the luxury liners is an important element in attracting more liners to our shores.

The Malta Tourism Authority was instrumental in making this happen, as it strongly believes that the Cruise Liners are not only an essential part of Malta's tourism market in itself, but also serves as a crucial 'tool' to showcase Malta to a wide variety of people of all ages from across the globe. The latter assures that around 5% of these day visitors actually return to our Islands for a longer holiday.
