Career Education DVDs developed by MTA

Last year, the Industry and HR division of the Malta Tourism Authority, helped in the production of an educational TV series, ‘L-Impjegati’. The follow up of this series resulted in the release of ‘L-Impjegati’ as a light entertaining documentary style DVD series.

The series targets the younger generation who are exploring paths of study and eventual employment and can be a useful tool for parents willing to encourage their children to make an informed decision. The series aims to provide them with information and food for thought to assist them in making an informed choice, particularly in relation to career opportunities within the tourism industry. The DVDs feature interviews with people who work on different levels of the career ladder within the Tourism and Hospitality Industry during which; they also explain their career path within the industry.

DVD 1 focuses more on careers in Hospitality and Catering; whilst DVD 2 focuses more on Travel and Tourism. One can choose to watch the whole DVD or by clicking on one of the interviews from the menu. This set of DVDs will be distributed to schools in the coming weeks.
