Malta’s own Aaron Ciantar wins Malta Grand Prix of the Sea

Aaron Ciantar won the 2009 edition of the Malta Grand Prix, racing in Seagull Chaudron in the Endurance Race. The Seagull Chaudron falls into the SuperSport Class.

This year’s race was blessed with perfect weather and took place with no hindrance from that end. However, the race had its fair share of drama. With penalties for speeding, some bumps and scrapes and tables turned on their head due to penalties mentioned. All in all an action packed high speed event, the full results of which were as below.

The Malta Grand Prix of the Sea is another major event sponsored by the Malta Tourism Authority, who renewed the sponsorship this year.
