Nina Ruge discovers Malta

Last month, popular German TV host and author Mrs Nina Ruge, who is Malta’s newly appointed VIP ambassador to the German market, visited Malta for a whirlwind visit, the first of more to follow.

The visit included a photo shoot with local photographer Alexandra Pace for a Malta brochure, as well as film shootings for leading public TV station ZDF and PBS. Together with selected German journalists, Mrs Ruge also discovered Malta’s cultural and culinary highlights and was amazed by the beauty of the Islands as well as the warm hearted locals.

Ms Ruge stated that she strongly believed in Malta’s potential to be a dream holiday destination and went as far as comparing Malta’s charms, albeit very different, to those of Tuscany with the added bonus of the sea. She said that she is determined to make this ambassadorship work for Malta as she is fascinated by all Malta has to offer.
