New information panels in Mdina
On July 8th, two information panels were placed in Mdina. One is located at Vilhena Gate and the other at Greeks’ Gate.
The design, production and installation of these signs was a relatively long and careful process to ensure that the quality and standards are deserving of the beautiful city of Mdina. LED lights have been installed to ensure that the information is accessible to visitors at night. In order to maintain the signs’ quality, bollards have been placed in front of them as protection from damage by vehicles.

These signs will be a source of useful information about Mdina, its sites and its history both for local and foreign visitors to this enchanting City of old. The information panels also give practical information about where to shop, eat and rest whilst visiting the city.
This initiative was taken by the Malta Tourism Authority in conjunction with the Mdina local council to ensure the appropriate placing of these signs.
