Malta Rocks CD launch

Thursday 24th July saw the launch of the Malta Rocks CD, a compilation of 16 songs from Malta’s top bands including the likes of Scream daisy, Fire, Cable 35, Foot Prints and many more!!

It is a real Maltese music treat the brain child of Gil a young German who has adopted Malta as his home and who wants to promote Malta and its music. The CD is mainly being used as an innovative marketing tool for Malta. Music carries memories, those memories shall be of Malta, and that is what the CD is all about. Gil stated that all the bands were enthusiastic about the cd and willing to co-operate, and whilst it was hard work it was great fun with an excellent end product. Limited numbers of cd’s are being sold in Malta, as the bulk of the 5,000 produced have been handed over to the sponsors namely the Malta Tourism Authority, EF language school and Dark Dog energy drink to use to promote Malta overseas.

So rush out and grab one before it’s too late!
