The crowd at Bugibba

THE FIRST EVER MALTA MUSIC WEEK - A RESOUNDING SUCCESS

Despite having to compete with the Euro 2008, for attention, the events of the Malta Music Week were a resounding success and certainly set the party mood for the Isle of MTV Malta Special, which brought this week of partying to a close.

Be it in Rabat, Gozo, Bugibba or Paceville, each event had the crowds partying whether on a dance floor, beach or in the streets! People of all ages joined in the fun and partied away until the early morning hours.

The parties in Rabat, Gozo and Bugibba had the Maltese DJ’s rubbing shoulders with the likes of Filo and Peri, the DJ duo from the US. Numerous foreigners were attracted to these parties over the weekend of the 20th to the 22nd of June. Whilst in Paceville on the 23rd June and Bugibba Bay Square on the 22nd June, Maltese bands had a field day with an opportunity to sell their music to the sizeable crowds that attended these two concerts.
