Clean Up the World Campaign

On occasion of the Clean Up The World Campaign, on Friday 30th November, members of the Product Development Directorate led by the Tourism Zone Management Office, held a general cleanup at the Bahrija Walk; more specifically at along parts of the Mtahleb scenic road.

A number of officers helped in collecting and removing burnt down trees which had been systematically vandalised some time ago. 45 gallon rusted oil drums, various automotive parts, plastics and other materials were removed. Rabat Local Council assisted the initiative at Mtahleb by providing a number of trucks to remove the collected waste.

On Sunday 2nd December, MTA participated in the Clean Up Campaign organised by the Ministry for Rural Affairs at the Majistral Park – Xaghra l-Hamra.
