Neckermann Austria Brochure Launch in Malta

On the November 22, Neckermann Austria held a press conference at the Hotel Intercontinental in St Julians, launching their summer 2008 brochures with a selection of top journalists from the Austrian tourism trade and consumer press.

During this press conference, the CEO of Neckermann Austria Mr. Reinhard Kotzaurek stated that Malta is becoming more and more important for his company and the brochure launch event and educational visit for 300 selected travel agents from Austria that will take place from December 2 to 9 in Malta is only the first step. Neckermann and the MTA will work closer together, developing the different niches and growth areas that Malta’s diversity offers, with the ultimate aim of increasing sales to Malta and Gozo.

The press conference was also addressed by Mr. Carlo Micallef from MTA and Mr. Ray Borg from Air Malta. Both underlined the landmark developments in Malta’s tourism industry this past year, the positive results achieved and the importance of a partner such as Neckermann.
