Malta's prehistory featured on popular RAI programme

The programme is conducted by Mario Tozzi, a geologist, a researcher at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) as well as one of the Directors of the National Park on the island of Elba. In next Saturday’s programme the Gaia team will try to give answers regarding the lost mythical continent of Atlantis. From Malta to Crete, from England to Nepal, Mario Tozzi and his team will relate some of the most enchanting theories of archaeology.

Among the questions which will be tackled one can mention a few:

  • Who destroyed the Megalithic Temples in Gozo?
  • When did the Santorini Volcano explode?
  • Atlantis: was it a continent or just the idealisation of a perfect society?
  • Does Sardinia hide the secrets of the lost continent?
