5 Maltese journalists visit the headquarters of Media Consulta

George Cini (The Times of Malta), Annette Vella (In-Nazzjon), Francesca Vella (The Malta Independent), Kurt Farrugia (Malta Star) and Monique Chambers (Malta Today) were accompanied by Ms Sandra Fohlmeister during their stay. They where given a tour of the agency’s different offices by Account Manager – Mr Vince Reardon who explained the various functions of the agency.

The journalists were later given a presentation of how the agency intends to promote Malta by Media Consulta’s Chief Executive Mr Zulauf, with ample time for questions after the presentation. The journalists asked penetrating questions related to Media Consulta’s experience in promoting touristic destinations, the integrated marketing approach, the integration of all the segments into the visuals, timing of the visuals and more.

The agency organised a trip round Berlin and both Mr Zulauf and Mr Reardon hosted the group to dinner. This provided the journalists with an informal opportunity to get to know the key people behind the agency better.

The journalists were invited to the Maltese Embassy in Berlin by his Excellency the Ambassador Dr. John Paul Grech and Ms Kornelia Klenner, the Public Relations Officer.

The Ambassador gave the journalists an overview of the role and functions of the Embassy and expressed his satisfaction for the appointment of a new communications agency based in Berlin. He highlighted past collaboration between the Ministry for Tourism & Culture, the MTA and the Embassy, whilst showing confidence that this relationship would be strengthened further by the choice of Media Consulta as Marketing and Communications agency.
