Exhibition of highly awarded photographer Reza Deghati
100 award winning photos were strung in a 3 km display along the recently embellished Sliema–St. Julians waterfront. 'One World, One Tribe', the title of the exhibition reflects 30 years of travel, framing world events for prestigious titles like National Geographic, Newsweek and Times Magazine as well as long standing work with Unicef.
Born in 1952, in the city of Tarbiz, Iran - Reza Deghati has been residing in Paris, France, since 1981. Reza criss-crossed the world, from the Bosphorus to the Great Wall of China, from Lebanon to Afghanistan, from Rwanda to Sarajevo, and Central Asian steps to the greatness of the Arabian Empty Quarter exposing the torments and upheavals as well as the artistic soul of mankind. Reza Deghati has received numerous awards and public recognition, including the title of ‘Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mérite’ from his country of residence, France.
