Conveying the Malta message worldwide

The current edition of Malta & Gozo Quarterly, the magazine promoting the Maltese Islands, was given a warm welcome when the first copies off the printing press were resented on the information desk at the MTA Conference.

Published by Impact Public Relations with the support and cooperation of the Malta Tourism Authority – and especially so the Communications and PR Directorate and the various Segments, this glossy magazine goes to promote the Maltese Islands overseas, through the MTA representative offices, its presentation on Malta stands in fairs and conferences as well as through the Air Malta overeseas offices. It is also available on the internet on www.maltaandgozo.com and thus likesise a handy promotional tool for Malta’s diplomatic missions and consular offices worldwide.

Main features in this issue of Malta & Gozo Quarterly include an interview with Mr. Sam Mifsud, MTA Chairman, a special section on Malta as a yachting centre whilst an extended ‘Gozo section’ highlights both the Island’s unique attractions as well as an in-depth, highly illustrated presentation on Gozo’s offer to the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and events) segment.

Malta & Gozo Quarterly covers all aspects of the tourism industry, highlighting events and initiatives in the quarter previous to the magazie issue, outlines events in the Maltese Islands of interest to the tourism industry and potential visitors and regularly carries a section dedicated specifically to the conferences and meetings segment. Another regular feature promotes investments in the Maltese Islands, and in this issue the topic dealt with include on-going developments within the Malta Stock Exchange and Malta’s attractions within the financial services sector as a base for Captive Insurance Companies.

It is the editorial policy of Malta & Gozo Quarterly to project Malta’s image internationally through comments from visitors to the Islands, speaking of their experiences. Such comments are to be found in the majority of features.
