The Malta Tourism Authority has since 1995 been offering the opportunity to all tourists the possibility to visit Fort St. Elmo. This is one of Malta’s major fortifications, positioned as it is on Valletta’s promontory guarding the entrance of Marsamxett and Grand Harbour.
The Fort is open to visitors almost regularly on Sundays in between mid-September until mid July. For the In Guardia and Alarme re-enactments. In order to provide the Maltese travel trade with a better insight as to what goes on during these re-enactments that have thrilled thousands of foreign visitors so far, the Malta Tourism Authority is inviting you and your guest to attend any one or both of these re-enactments.
