The May issue of Conde Nast Traveller Italy special Malta will have in all 240 pages about Malta.

The prestigious Condé Nast Traveller Italy magazine will, for the first time ever, dedicate an entire Malta special edition with over 180 pages of articles on the islands. The issue will be published in May and will be available on all the Italian newsstands with a circulation of over 90,000 copies.

Dominic Micallef, Segment Head, History & Culture said that this will give Malta a lot of marketing mileage in the Italian market, more so because the magazine will be published in May, which traditionally is the month when Italian holiday makers decide on their summer destination.

The magazine gives a general overview of all of Malta’s tourism offer, and will be the most comprehensive high-profile tourism magazine featuring Malta in Italy. There are several articles in the magazine, featuring Valletta and the Three Cities, Baroque Architecture, Mdina and Rabat as well as Gozo.

MTA co-ordinated this initiative with its Italian overseas representatives, and also gave an opportunity to the local tourism trade to advertise in the magazine. The MTA History & Cultural Segment would like to thank all those members of the local tourism trade who participated in this project.
