Malta’s Best Opportunity for Medical Tourism Expansion

Volfren, publishers of Healthcare Options magazine, are working with the Malta Tourism Authority, Starwood Hotel Group, Air Malta and a large number of Maltese health, medical and dental providers developing 'medical tourism' on the island.

It has been shown by countries such as India and Thailand that medical or 'health tourism' can bring great financial rewards to those countries able the meet the growing demand of those looking for treatment abroad. Volfren and the MTA’s innovative and co-operative approach developing the market, is also being backed by the Office of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.
