Malta & Gozo Day By Day

The May issue of the monthly, what’s on magazine, now in its sixth year of publication carries an outstanding view of the PI Powerboat Maltese Grand Prix of the Sea with the Valletta and Tigne Point skyline in the background.

Through the years Malta & Gozo Day By Day has been established as a regular monthly guide to the Maltese Islands, including historic background, places of interest, and features related to the month’s highlights. But its outstanding and highly appreciated section by visitors and local expatriate residents is the events section in English, German, French and Italian – listing feasts and events, re-enactments, church services, opera, theatre, concerts, poetry and literary recitals, cultural tours, exhibitions and museums.

This highly illustrated magazine is now a sought-after and respected publication with pride of place in five and four-star hotels, MTA Information Offices – from Malta International Airport, to Valletta, St. Julians and Gozo, as well as at yacht marinas and a mailing list directed at expatriate residents, diplomatic missions and a choice of upmarket residences.

Leading features, with a programme of events when is the case, include the Maltese Grand Prix of the Sea, the Mediterranean Food & Drink Festival, an introduction to the festa season, a regular feature on Gozo including the ‘Lapsi Night Celebration’, information on Malta’s outstanding pre-historic monuments with some striking images, the Knights’ Fortifications, a feature on Maltese cuisine focusing on snacks and including ‘pastizzi’ and ‘hobz biz-zejt’, Maltese flolk-singing or ‘Ghana’, information on dining out, background to the ‘Great Spring Horticultural Show’, advice on retiring in Malta as well as maps of Malta and Valletta and useful hints for visitors.

Malta & Gozo Day By Day is recognized as a quality publication reflecting all the attributes one looks forward to during a holiday, or as a permanent resident, in the Maltese Islands.

The magazine is available on the internet, www.maltaandgozo.com and is regularly promoted as a reference point to the Maltese Islands wherever there is a Malta representative office throughout the world.

The publishers, Impact Public Relations, have at all times worked closely in the development of this project with the Malta Tourism Authority and have a sound working relationship with the MTA’s Communications and PR Office.
