Events Malta launched

During a press conference held on Monday the 30th of May, the Minister for Tourism & Culture, Dr. Francis Zammit Dimech, officially launched the new monthly pocket handbook Events Malta.

The publication, aimed primarily at visitors to Malta, is being produced by RMF publishing, and is being wholly supported by the Malta Tourism Authority. Events Malta will have an average print run of 30,000 to 40,000 copies per month, liable to increase, depending on demand. The publication will be distributed free of charge through all Tourist Information Offices, hotels and heritage sites, whereas a small number will also be on sale at €1 from certain stationers. Events Malta is a publication that fills a long-felt lacuna, especially where information to tourists is concerned. The monthly handbook will provide all the necessary details pertaining to any and all events happening in a particular month, as well as information on heritage sites, museums, buses, restaurants etc. The publication also includes very useful town maps in the latter section.
