  • ‘Malta and Gozo’ spring advertising campaign launched overseas

    Sample artworks of Winter/spring ad campaignsThe Malta Tourism Authority has recently launched a new winter/spring advertising campaign promoting destination Malta in the core European markets. The campaign kicked off some three weeks ago in the British print media and was followed by print media campaigns in France, Germany, Italy, Scandinavia, the Benelux, Hungary and Japan, amongst others.

  • Launch of the Malta & Gozo e-Tourism Portal

    pic not availableThe Malta Tourism Authority, in conjunction with the Ministry for Tourism and Culture, launched the national e-tourism portal on the 19th of January 2007. This portal was specifically designed to serve as an additional medium to promote independent traffic towards Malta.

  • ‘Training Support for SME's’ for Serviced Accommodation and Catering Establishments

    Due to excellent response from the industry a second intake of the Training Support for SME’s is being organised bt the MTA's Industry HR Development Unit. The Training Programme is aimed at providing management training and business advice to small and independent businesses to help them improve business performance within their respective companies. This programme forms part of the ‘Tourism and Support Services Training Programme’ promoted by the Malta Tourism Authority.

  • Inauguration of Dingli Cliffs Project

    On the 21st of February The Minister for Tourism and Culture, Dr. Francis Zammit Dimech, inaugurated the embellishment project adjacent to the Magdalene Chapel, on the Dingli Cliffs panoramic road. The Project, which was undertaken by the Dingli Local Council in collaboration with the Malta Tourism Authority, complemented the restoration works carried out on the Chapel itself, completed lately by the Ministry for Resources and the Infrastructure.
